The Office of Business Planning’s budget, contracts, grants and training staff supports the Division of Air Resource Management by overseeing:
- Management of the division’s budget, including developing annual legislative budget requests, purchasing, grant management and maintenance of the financials of Florida’s Title V program
- Development of Florida’s federal work plan and related grant applications and commitments, and coordinating with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on grant and funding activities
- Development and consistent implementation of the division’s Specific Operating Agreements with local air programs
- Implementation of training initiatives, including the development of the division’s Employee Development Plan and coordinating with EPA and the Southeastern States Air Resource Managers group on statewide training initiatives
