Adoptions-by-Reference of EPA Regulations

Current and Recent Adoptions-by-Reference of EPA Regulations

Section 403.8055, Florida Statutes, provides a "fast-track" process for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to adopt rules substantively identical to U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. Pursuant to this process, DEP's Division of Air Resource Management adopts EPA regulations by reference as needed to carry out the state's responsibilities under the federal Clean Air Act. For further information regarding the division's adoption by reference of EPA regulations, please send your request to Terri Long.
