Our families have fun visiting Florida's beaches. We relish the firsthand experience of sun, wind and waves continually shaping the sandy beach and dunes. Many also enjoy quietly observing coastal wildlife, habitats, and dune plants. When you, your students or family are not able to get to the beach, this printable study booklet can get you there mentally. The booklet is intended to enrich the young mind’s appreciation of Florida's sandy beaches and coastal habitats and help it understand how these are affected in some way by our actions. Florida’s Beaches and Shores Study Book includes educational exercises and can be used for coloring. Through the information and activities presented in this booklet, we hope young people gain additional respect for Florida's beaches.
