DEP is hosting a rule development workshop to which all persons are invited. This rule development workshop will allow DEP to discuss and receive public input on the draft amendments to Chapter 62-600, F.A.C., Domestic Wastewater Facilities, Chapter 62-699, F.A.C., Treatment Plant Classification and Staffing, and Chapter 62-620, F.A.C., Wastewater Facility and Activities Permitting. The proposed revisions will address general requirements for distributed wastewater treatment systems (DWTS), as well as specific requirements such as minimum design and treatment requirements, annual inspections, recordkeeping, notification and certification, biosolids management, compliance sampling and reporting requirements.
