DEP is proposing revisions to Chapter 62-6, F.A.C., to ensure proper regulation for onsite sewage treatment and disposal systems (OSTDS) in Florida. The purpose of this rule development workshop is to present DEP's proposed rule revisions, which are being developed to in accordance with legislative direction in Florida's Clean Waterways Act (Chapter 2020-150, Laws of Florida) and incorporating the most recent scientific information available.
The department is hosting this public workshop virtually via Microsoft Teams. Once available, copies of meeting materials can be obtained by reviewing the Water Resource Management Rules in Development webpage.
