Details
Participation in the Ocean Conservancy's 2019 International Coastal Cleanup in Cedar Key. Big Bend Seagrasses Aquatic Preserve participates in this community based event annually. Staff contribute by removing derelict aquaculture gear, as well as various other marine debris items, by vessel during this event. Items are then returned to shore, where additional volunteers catalog, sort and recycle as much as possible.
