It's officially Stone Crab Season! Lignumvitae Key Aquatic Preserve is a great place to go crabbing. But before you grab your crab traps, join us for a free and brief talk about Sustainable Stone Crabbing in Lignumvitae.

Whether you're a seasoned stone crabber, a newbie or are just thinking about trying it out, you'll learn a lot from Katy Cummings, Florida Keys Aquatic Preserves Manager for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Lignumvitae Key is one of 41 aquatic preserves throughout Florida managed by DEP's Office of Resilience and Coastal Protection.
