Come out to Sunset Landing and Shuckers Half Shell Oyster Bar for this BYOV event (Bring Your Own Vessel) where there will be guided kayak tours. Not just for water lovers but we will also have outdoor games, a photo contest, food, an interactive art installation with Perdita Ross and exhibitors where all can learn about Lake Jackson Aquatic Preserve and other environmental organizations in Leon County and beyond.
There will be two live bands performing: the Hot Tamale Tallahassee at 11:30 and Old Soul Revival at 1:00.
Artist, Perdita Ross co-created the characters for the Floridingers Book “Swamp Fest.” She will have the book on display as well as offer everyone a non-toxic hand painted tattoo good for kids and adults alike. https://www.floridingers.com/about
