The state asbestos removal program requirements of s. 376.60, F.S., and the renovation or demolition notice requirements of the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants, 40 CFR Part 61, Subpart M, as embodied in Rule 62-257, F.A.C., are included on this Notice of Demolition or Asbestos Renovation form.
This Notice of Demolition or Asbestos Renovation must be postmarked or received atleast 10 working days before the project start date. Submit the notice to the appropriate DEP district office or local air program office. Be sure to provide the address where the department or local air program is to send the invoice for any fee due. The fee will be calculated for you pursuant to Rule 62-257.400, F.A.C.
The Online Asbestos Notification System may be used instead of this form to submit notification, and pay any fee online, but the notification must still be submitted at least 10 working days before the project start date.
