  • Petroleum Cleanup Funding Cap Encumbrance To Date Report
Please be aware that there are two worksheets in this document, Cap_To_Date and Facility_Eligibilities.
This report is offered as a TOOL to assist in determining the total amounts encumbered from the Inland Protection Trust Fund for DEP registered facilities with one or more eligible discharges. This report is based solely on data available in several current and former Petroleum Cleanup Program databases as of the date last updated. These databases include: Reimbursement First Come - First Served (FCFS); State Cleanup Super Act Site Management (SPASM & LPSPASM); Cleanup Utility Bill Tracking (data available starting in FY 99-00); NPDES Permit Fee Tracking (data available starting in FY 95-96); and Storage Tank and Petroleum Contamination/Cleanup Monitoring (STCM) for Preapproval Work Orders, Task Assignments & Change Orders.
    • Note: These data have NOT been 100 percent verified, MAY contain errors and omissions, and should NOT be used for official purposes without a complete file review and database reconciliation.
    • Note: These data exclude costs encumbered in association with the Limited Source Removal Initiative in Conjunction with an Early Underground Storage Tank Upgrade pursuant to §376.3071(5)(c)2, F.S., which are not counted toward the eligibility funding cap.
    • Note: The total encumbrance amounts are at the facility level only and not associated with a particular discharge. While many of the facilities have co-mingled contamination addressed concurrently in the same area for which combining multiple funding caps is appropriate, there are also a number of sites where the appropriate allocation of costs among multiple discharges can be determined only after a detailed file review.
